I think you may have added in a few steps,

This came Directly from the Torrent -

THIS WAS CREATED IN WINDOWS 7. I DON'T KNOW IF SOME OF THE LOCATIONS ARE DIFFRENT IN OTHER
OPERATING SYETEMS, BUT USE THIS TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY.

I'm going to go through where to put each of these folders thay you've downloaded. By now
I assume you've at least installed the Beta.

How to Bypass the Battle.net Login:
Open Windows Explorer and go to the following location:

C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta\Battle.net

Once you're there, paste the folder that you downloaded called SWF into the folder you
went to in Windows Explorer. Once you paste the folder, you're done Bypassing the
Battle.net login!

The Cache (used to watch replays):
Open Windows Explorer and go to the following location:

C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net

You should now see a folder called Cache and a file called index.
Take the Cache file you downloaded and paste it into the Battle.net folder that you
just went to in Windows Explorer. If it asks you to replace certain things, go ahead and do
so.When it finishes copying, you're done with the Cache!

The Replays (the actual replays you're going to watch):
After putting the Cache where it needed to go, you're going to want to watch some replays,
right? First, go to this location in Windows Explorer:

C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\Documents\StarCraft II Beta

When you look here you should see two folders called GameLogs, Maps, and a text file called
Variables. Paste the folder called Replays that you downloaded into this folder that you
navigated to and you're done with the Replays!

Now you're all done! Go load up SC2, watch some replays, and mess with your graphics
settings so everything runs smoothly when we're finally able to play some skirmishes.

- But on the other hand I followed these directions to the dot, but on Xp and mine doesn't work.
I receive the error  "**temp** one or more of these files which are needed to play this game are not available locally. They must be downloaded first."

I'm about to read the hell out of this in hopes that it is my holy grail, http://botdev.org/doku.php?id=tutorials

I am on Windows Vista but i tought that the destinations were the same.

EDIT : I am happy that you resolved! xD

Your cache is incomplete, that's why. Use the one you get from this torrent or you might still get some errors with the replays.

PS : Sorry for the double posting.

I have WinXP:
When the loadingscreen for the replay come, the progress bar works and then SC2 shut down.
I found out that i don't have a "Map"-folder near GameLogs, Replays and Variable.txt, but i don't know if this is the problem.

Klick on Replay >> Progress Bar works a few seconds >> SC2 closed. :(  :(  :(

Download this http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz/cpuz_153_setup.exe and run it.

Once you do It'll give you every detail of your processor. Check if it says SSE2 (I'm not sure but it should be near SSE 3DNow and MMX) Keep in mind that SSE it's not the same as SSE2!

(If you don't have it, then that's the problem and you won't be able to play SC in any way or form. It happened to me as well, and three guys too) ;~;

I set everything up, transfered catche, maps, swf etc. in the right places, I open up starcraft and I can't see any replays in there (got lots of them). Anyone know's what might be wrong?

P.s. I'm using Windows 7

Edit: Ok I solved it ^^. I've had my replays folder in the wrong place. Watching replay now, thank you guys, you're awsome <3

Thx, you are right, i have a AMD XP 2800+ and only SSE. So i can't upgrade a CPU (SSE2) on a A-Sockel Mainboard? I need a new Mainboard and CPU?

Gurluas

Can someone post the cache and maps in a direct link?
Torrents dont work well for me.

And by the way:
Heres a direct download for the sc2 engb client.

I think so, for instance Athlon 64s (They have SSE2) use socket-754

That's Correct!

Word on the street though is that 2weak is getting pretty close to launching a private server.

I'm just happy he didn't steal my name ;)

Mhh...maybe your folders are hidden? i posted a solution about it.
""C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net" Some of these folders are hiden, go here for more info on how to see them, is really easy."
