EDIT: This is now working for the second patch (and hopefully all future patches. Will make the description more coherent later)

The quick version:
1. Installed Starcraft II Beta from http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5371903/Starcraft_2_Beta_Client_US_Build_13891
2. Ran to get the latest patch
3. Downloaded the loader. (Did not run it at this point though it shouldn't matter) http://www.mediafire.com/?mon3ntwhit2
4. Downloaded the mappack from http://www.multiupload.com/7YY40566LH
5. Downloaded the replay enabler from http://www.mediafire.com/?xlmmwncw2ow
6. Ran the replay enabler it installed.
7. Downloaded the V4 AI http://x.00.dy.fi/sc2c/StarCrack%20AI%204.0.rar Installed according to instructions.
8. Created the folder C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache\00\11 (just need to make the 11)
9. Copied the maps from the map pack (after extracting) to the folder I had just named. Renamed them putting 0011 in front of each map (letting the rest be, so for example one map was named 0011(2) - Blistering Sands.s2ma (remember to launch the game using these maps, the one under the Cache\00\11 folder)
10. Enjoyed (I could view the replays launching starcraft regularly or pressing leave game after launching a game. The replays were under recent and worked perfectly)

*Edit: I really need to make this clearly and hopefully can upload a file with a bunch of different AI later today.

Thanks to marlow, just a note: Ok here is the fix to load latest replays :

Just need to download an updated cache folder (here :
http://www.sc2win.com/starcraft-2-downloads/starcraft-2-cache-files-update/ )

Don't forget to put the original Base.SC2Data... et voilĂ

The OLD longer version:

This is a short tutorial on how to view the replays you've played against the AI. I assume for the sake of this tutorial that you have installed the hack that lets you view replays in general. (Otherwise check out Link will go here).

I recommend (but not needed) that you have the harder (cheating) version of the AI installed as your games will be more fun, but by no means is it necessary.

You will need some maps with the AI enabled on them. A great map pack you can download can be found at http://www.multiupload.com/7YY40566LH

Now once you have the maps go to C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache (For Windows 7 and Vista users). In general just find the AppData folder and open local then blizzard entertainment... It should not be to difficult to find.

In the cache folder you should see a long list of folders named with just to characters. Your next step is to create two folders (or use some that are already there) to put your maps in. This is what I did to be able to find my maps the easiest, but you can do it with any four charcters:

In the Cache folder I opened the 00 folder (you can create one if you don't have one)
Then inside of it I created a folder called 11. Inside of that folder I pasted all of my maps. Now after pasting the maps you have to put 0011 infront of all of the maps names (but you can leave the rest so that you can see what each map is). Now when you use lazy launch just open up C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache\00\11 (or you equivilant) and select the map you want to play. The next time you launch LazyLaunch you won't have to find the directory as LazyLaunch saves the last directory you were in.

Now just play like you would regularly and enjoy :) . Now whenever you want to view a replay just find it like you would regularly under recent and viola! it will launch. Feel free to post any cool replays (or questions) in this thread for others to see. (if you do not use the default 00 then 11 we will have to place our maps in the folders you chose, so please stick to the default if your going to post replays).

(I will be editing this guide and it is a little unclear and the spelling sucks)

Post reserved for posting cool replays.

Thanks to Shadow Tiger for this information:
You can only watch NEW replays with this method, you may as well delete all your old replays as i couldnt figure out how to play them. (*EDIT it may work to launch them with the Lazy Loader, though it has not been tested, though the AI MUST be the same)The map name must match the name of the map in the replay and its cache location exactly, or else the replay wont load. Also you must have the same AI the replay author used.

Using alternative AI

The replay start but in game they said that the replay can't be syncronised.

Some help ?

Hmm... Does it say anything other than replay cannot be syncronised? (remember you cannot view any replays before u placed the maps under the Cache)

chetjan

Heres a replay of me sucking (hence why it is not under cool replays) just to test out if replay sharing works. (i have the map under 00\11 and the maps are named the same as in the pack with 0011 (just like I said in the tutorial. Please tell me if you can view it. http://rapidshare.com/files/357104734/2010-02-28_10-37-17.SC2Replay

Can you upload it onto a different website? I can't use rapidshare, it's always overloaded

chetjan

Sure it is now in media fire. As well as another one with me failing as protoss. (I realized that the replays are not for the patch 2 version of the game so you may have to use the lazy launcher to launch the replays (it will revert back to the older version of the game for the replay))

I realized that the replays are not for the patch 2 version of the game so you may have to use the lazy launcher to launch the replays

Unfortunately, the new LazyLaunch 2.0 will load up the latest version of the beta.

chetjan

Even though they say: When loading a replay, Lazy Launcher will attempt to figure out what versionof StarCraft II that replay was recorded in, and launch that version. If itcannot figure out what version the replay was recorded in, it will launchthe latest version of the game.

Well I'll update you guys when I have reinstalled the game (I've been playing around to much with the files and blizzard wont let me update :( plus it will give a fresh start so i can fix any steps i missed in the tutorial.

@Giz did you remember to rename the maps?

chuk90

w8, I dont get it. How to save ur own replay you've played against the AI?

chetjan

It saves it automatically, just before you couldn't view it. When your done with the game and exit the replay is automatically under Document\Starcraft II Beta\Replays\Recent (or something like that). If you run starcraft normally and log in as guest all ur replays (including those against the AI) should apear with the date and time under recent.

Note: if you change the AI you use the replays will most likely stop working.

reaperman

Sorry for being a dumbass, but.. could you rewrite this step by step please?

creamsoda

Just so you guys know.. the method described in this thread no longer works..

Currently, there is no way of playing replays saved from the 2nd patch of the game.

chetjan has been only watching replays from the 1st patch.

chetjan

@Cream soda sadly true for now. I will try to get a work around after i've done all the homework i have... (thanks, will edit first post to warn others)
@Reaperman sure I can, though I won't until i get it working for patch 2
