Unit Data Parsing

I work for a Starcraft 2 fansite, and I am looking for a way to gather all information from the internal files. From my limited understanding of how w3x files worked, they contained a .mpq file that had all of the map information in it. Is this the same for s2ma files? Is it possible yet to pull the mpq out of them?


An example of the information we are looking for is numerical move speed and attack speed values that are not visible in game.


If anyone can offer any help it would be greatly appreciated.
