General Discussion / And so it begins..
January 19, 2011, 07:58:46 PM
As some of you may have been aware, I have been really busy the past year, due to college and such. I needed to get settled in and such. I postponed my Perl library to Battle.net 1.x and I have been thinking (In the future when available) writing some modules for Battle.net 2.0 when the time comes around. These modules would provide an object oriented, Moose & Reflex powered A.P.I. most likely, to bring a fast, extensible BNET2 library cross platform easily.

Please note that I probably will not release these modules on CPAN, for obvious reasons, so do not ask :P
I will be holding my GIT repository on http://git.georgix.info (Currently being set up with gitweb)

Will this be another clean slate bot?
No. Everything will be open source, contributors are welcomed, and If designed correctly, this project will be a collection of modules which assist in the creation of Battle.net 2.0 protocol usage, such as different aspects of a chat bot, etc. When complete, different modules should handle parts and pieces so that you can either load the entire library as a whole or only parts of it to do simple jobs.

What do you think?
Myst has known about this project for some time.

But all in all as a final point, I'm back active, it's good to be back :)

Hey,

So yeah, I'm new. Quite new in fact. I reside on useast, you can usually find me with the remnants of Silver Archers in clan set if I'm online, I just started hanging around again a couple months ago.. so I decided to use my old account name really, SA-Ninjaboy, it works :)....

I like to work with Perl, PHP, a bit of C... BASIC is something of the past as of quite a while ago, took me forever to get out of those habbits. But yeah, just dropping in here, to say Hi.

Edit:
Oh, and one last thing, You might often hear me rant on about coding projects that may or may not be relevant whatsoever in normal chit chat to any use at all. Coding is just a hobby of mine (I do work as a web developer) mostly, so its fun to just write random little things :D
