if they had a beta cd key, they probably wouldn't be on these forums, i know i sure as fuck wouldn't be.

your windows 7 64-bit will be able to run it fine

its funny how people will spend months developing a product, and and afford cheap web hosting and a domain, so they have to resort to rapidshare and the servers are always too full for the download

i wouldn't get too used to it since it won't work on battle.net

oh well, just play whatever is available now, so you can at least learn the game, and just wait for retail.  remember, blizzard wants money, so they want retail released asap

who the hell would want 3 players to share 1 start location?

Because many people here had that very same problem and fixed it that way. If that doesnt work, you may want to see this, hope it helps:

And a fresh reinstall is also an option to consider if the above still doesnt work...

Yes this guide does look very useful

Enabling/Disabling Internet shouldn't fix any problems...the way it works now is, it checks if its able to connect to the server, then if the connection was established, extra features are enabled (upload/download maps, and voting and popularity)

The problem i noticed is that when its connecting to the server, the launcher completely stops responding until the operation is done. The same for uploading maps, which can take up to a minute or longer.  Even though the application says not responding, it still is uploading the file. If anyone has any suggestions for how to fix this would be great.

Val is at work right now and will work on the it tonight, and I do not have the latest source.  I was actually trying to redo the launcher in Direct3D9...but i decided it wasn't necessary since val came up with the elegant interface

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fit the interface using any custom DPI?  I know the DirectX9 approach would of solved this too..

If you are having a selectedIndex error, its most likely because when its loading your configuration from the .ini file, it might be trying to select the one that was deleted (if you delete maps, AI, etc)

@jiraffe

delete the settings.ini, then run the launcher and select your map and AI directory manually

make sure lazy launcher is in the same directory as the launcher

highest number = latest version

thanks for the bug reports, tomorrow's version will work on fixing all the reported issues

this launcher works with v6.1 AI

6.1 works properly with launcher 0.21, i've been playing for the past few hours
in cheating version protoss was very strong, so i tried non-cheating against the zerg, and they were very easy.

I had siege tanks, marines, and medics, and easily slaughtered them
