Battlenger / Update?
September 26, 2011, 10:49:12 AM
So, I noticed googlecode site was down. Is there any work being done on this anymore?

If not I'd love to contribute a little. I spare-time randomly get into programming moods.

Let me know!

Do u have in your plans make the bot open source so other developers can joining to your project. For example I can write plugins or something like that for users and convert any known plugins/scrips from other languages, for example from VB, like stealthbot plugins.
Coz you know now it's impossible create something for you bot while we haven't any chance to test any plugins.

As nice as Open Source is, plugins can definately be made w/o it. He just has to document the plugin system well. Look at Stealthbot, it wasn't made Open Source, but there are plugins for it.

General / BNET.cc -- The Battle.net Wiki
October 30, 2010, 07:11:20 AM

Greetings friends.

http://www.bnet.cc/

BNET.cc has been re-made into a wiki. I have large plans for it, and am doing a LOT of the data entry myself. Some things we're looking for though if you'd like to contribute:
- Bots -- Our bots list needs bots added to it. Descriptions, screenshots, etc. Uploads of images are open for members of the site.
- Clans -- Clans list currently has 3 clans on it. I posted mine, and created two others that I had linked to from mine (I don't like empty pages)
- Packets -- If you'd like to contribute programming knowledge, you can contribute to 'Open Bnet Docs'.

I look forward to building up the information, and as with my job, I typically learn things when I type them, so I hope to get a better feel for some of the topics as I type. :) I will be slowly adding bot reviews myself, but if other people want to contribute, thats great to. I've done 3 so far.

OpenBnetDocs started with BNU-Camel a LONG time ago, he closed it a year or so ago, and I opted to include it as part of BNET.cc

Because BNET.cc is no longer a forum community, we won't do much chatting. I was considering adding a small chat program to it, but opted not to for now. If you're not familiar with wiki, I did add a WYSIWYG editor to it, to make things somewhat easier for people. I have also left DARKBLIZZ in as one of my 4 affiliates.

One of my biggest reasons for doing this, is between my site, and 3 of my 4 affiliate sites, all of the data/layout/presentation was similar. So I opted to do a wiki instead, gives me some more flexibility and lets me help my affiliates rather than compete with them for 'hits'. :)

So, welcome to the weirdest day of the year. Next year, it will be November 11th, 2011, and the year after: Dec 12, 2012, and then we won't have MM/DD/YY line up again until  2101

How cool is that?

Anyway some fun facts about October this year:
October 2010:This October has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays, all in 1 month. It happens once in 823 years.

Battle.net Programs / Invigoration 1.2.9 Stable [Open]
September 13, 2010, 10:12:18 AM

This is my chat bot. It was based a LONG time ago on SoupBot BNLS Source, but since has evolved dramatically. I've put a lot of work into the interface, and the underlying code, and had some help from other members of the community on BNET.cc as well as DarkBlizz.

Essentially, if you want to try it you can. It is open source and you can feel free to tinker and send me your ideas, as long as they're safe, I'll implement them into the current released source code/version.

http://code.google.com/p/invigoration/downloads/list
On that download list, you'll find the SOURCE for 1.2.9 and the Download for the full version. Enjoy! And if you find issues, post via google code or BNET.cc cause thats where I check them. ;0

Special thanks to Myst for helping me thru some connection issue I was having.

If you want to contribute to the project, you can let me know, I can add you to google code, and you can submit code to me which I can add if needed.

UPDATED: 1.2.9 Released 9/14/2010
