SC2 Tools / Re: Best Launcher in your opinion.
April 06, 2010, 03:11:50 AM
Actually I use sc2 launcher because its so nice to add AIs (just triggerlibs no .sc2data).

I used the Allin1 before too, really easy to begin with, but it bothered me that you cant just use the triggerlibs since im to stupid to handle the mpq editor :S

big + there would be the ability to play replays...

Tested your AI and found one big flaw which should be easy to fix.
If units have diffrent movementspeeds the faster will just run away and engage without waiting for the slow ones.
Best seen with zerglings/banelings or zerglings/hydralisks. Zerglings are always already dead when the others arrive...

Great job otherwise! Really like it.

dont forget that one :D
Really looking forward to your next version!!!

You know the Base.sc2data files, where the AI is?

If you open them with a MPQ editor you will see that there is a folder called Triggerlibs inside ;)

Anyways if you want to run just Triggerlibs use the Starcraft2 Launcher
http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/sc2-tools/starcraft-ii-launcher/

Under Mods (the mods in the folder where you extracted the launcher!) you can just make a folder with the name of your AI and copy your triggerlibs inside....

good luck :)

Is there starting message? Because i dont get one.
Something like Strategy 0.22 loaded or Starcrack 7.0.0 Terrible things will happen.

You need to add that because its really nice to see that your AI loaded correctly :S

AI Discussion / Re: Learning AI posible ?
April 03, 2010, 04:01:29 AM
actually i dont see that happening, since your AI would need to add code, which is not possible or only very limited possible in c++.
Forget about your idea unless somebody pays you to work 24/7 and youre a professional.

Y same here! was wondering if im playing .21 or .22 :s
#26
Hi, I had the same thing but it worked non the less.

If you really cant play just try another launcher, since tthat will take less time till you can play

Hi, I have following "problem".

Ive installed the Starcraft 2 Beta Launcher from valkyyrie and it works so far ( some bugs but I can play...)
Now since i installed Starcrack AI i feel that i cant play the Ai maps i was used to besides Starcrack.
How do i load the regular AI maps without starcrack AI?

Should i just use another launcher?

BTW since i already opened a thread: How do i use that mpq thing to get the Strategy 0.22 AI working?

Greez and thanks for the information
:D
