I have lazylaunch 2.0 and it doesn't want to work with my computer. I have everything set up right and when I open it and select it map it just stops working.

So I was wondering where I could find an earlier version of lazylaunch or if there was another program that could replace lazylaunch 2.0 that might work with my computer instead.

Thanks

Kouga

2.0 is the latest version.

Where did you put lazylauch2? you should put it in StarCraft II Beta folder.

He's asking for an earlier version. He already has 2.0. And he doesn't need to put it in the SC2 Beta directory at all.

Just use one of the other launchers in this forum.

All the launchers are dependant on lazy launcher, so if lazy launcher is the problem, it might not work. Try the Star Launcher one, it's completely independant from lazy launcher.

Are they all dependent on LazyLauncher 2.0 or can I get a lazylauncher 1.0 or something to work with it??

Get this launcher here. This is currently the only launcher that does not rely on LazyLauncher. Also, what's the problem you are having with Lazylauncher right now. Maybe you can post the error and we'll help you look at the problem.

I dled the starlauncher, but if I try to run it it says "Cannot find Starcraft II directory, try putting starlauncher.exe in the game directory". (I have it placed in my SC Beta launcher folder with maps, AI's ect.)

And about lazylaunch, There is no error I just simply open it (it opens fine and takes me right to my folder containing AI maps) and click on a map (I've tried tons of them) and it immediately stops working.

Do you have a cheap Anti-virus program like Avast or AVG? If so, disable it.

Star launcher just needs to be in your main directory. So like c:/program files/StarCraft II Beta. It should work if it's just placed where the main exe is.

Starlauncher is in my starcraft II Beta folder, and it still won't open. I get the same message.

And I tried turning off my anti virus and firewalls, but it didn't change anything.

Somebody up there doesn't want me playing this game lol...

no idea, I assumed the installer that I got automatically updated it. Where could I get the update if I don't??

Anyways, I thought I would throw up a few pictures so you guys could take a look yourselves at what I may be doing wrong.

For the Valkirie launcher with .NET Framework error, install v3.5 from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en

About your game version, you can check *\StarCraft II Beta\Versions\ folder. There you should find one dir for every patch installed (Base14259 for the latest one).

gingerkid

still no luck lol... I've tried downloading .net framework 3.5 before and I keep getting a setup error...

Also I never got a versions folder with any of my downloads as you can see in the picture above (all downloads i got from this site, like valkirie's from his post)

You can check the game version in the folder where the game is installed, like default location C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta\Versions\

And for NET Framework, try to install first v.2.0 and then v.3.5

v2.0 link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5B2C0358-915B-4EB5-9B1D-10E506DA9D0F&displaylang=en

Or you can try this launcher which not needs .NET Framework and should ask for SC2 location if is not found in the registry:
http://darkblizz.org/Forum2/sc2-tools/starcraft-ii-launcher/
Also, it has an SC2Launcher.ini file where you can manually change the path to SC2 if still have path finding issue. The line, for default location, should look like this:
GamePath=C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta\

.NET 2.0 is not supported on Vista operating system.

So I assume to fix all my problems i just need to go out and buy Windows 7...
