First of all.. im new here and im glad to be part of DarkBlizz :D

and now..

-Problem-

after the launch of lazytown's sandbox i've been able to play the game smoothly even without AIs, in my testing i sort of played with the game (since there is no goal) and made them /dance  :P but then suddenly the screen went dark green with lines on them :(

it was immediate.. after that i waited for the release of the AI (the very first ones, tnx to you guys :D) so i went on and tested it, sadly i wasn't prepared but i lost.. then so on until it happened again.. but this time.. the game itself will just hang.. then if you try to move the mouse a lot, it will then follow.. then the Dark green scanlines appeared.. the BG music is still playing but if you waited for a while the keyboard will stop responding and the BG Music will loop... the last resort i had was restarting the pc :(

the solution given to me at the Warez-bb.org was to add 2 Lines at Documents\Starcraft II Beta\~spam~ (that was written, wth is spam anyway??) so i guess that those lines belong to "variables.txt" then i added them (in the F area) after adding it, i tested it today and the game lasted for an hour and a half before it happened again :( dunno why this is happening but this is my Rig:

~AMD Athlon 2 x64 +4000 2.10ghz (runs smoothly with some fps slow down in some spots of the map)
~Apollo ATI Radeon 4670 DDR4 512mb (updated it's driver from last month 2-14-10)
~2GB Kingston RAM

that's about it.. the recommended settings are almost all of them are HIGH, post processing medium and reflections are off.. i didn't touch them even if i want to.. but it might result to some graphics problem in the future..

anyone know how to solve this? :(

it's not a graphics problem actually the game runs smoothly i don't like playing a game at low graphics, if that happens then i should just play SC  :'(

Maybe is just overheating? open the case and see if the vents have dust.

Gamewiz

Check a few things:

First, check to make sure your computer isn't overheating. Make sure to use a compressed air can and make sure dust is out of your case, especially with your fans. It's a simple fix many people fail to check (including myself).

Second, make sure your drivers are updated (including things like Direct X).

Third, I know you hate low settings, but run it anyways like that for awhile. See if the problem arises. If it doesn't, then bring ONE feature back online, and turn it up to max. Test again for awhile. Keep repeating this process until you find the thing that is causing your computer to hang, then just disable that feature. Maybe it'll be fixed in a future patch by Blizzard. Wait until the game releases and submit a report to Blizzard about your findings. The reason I'm saying wait till release is because since you are not apart of Beta, I doubt they will help you in any way.
